Premium fireplaces, stoves, and outdoor living — designed, crafted, and installed by the family that has warmed East Tennessee and Western North Carolina for more than three decades.
Our Story
American Fireplaces was founded in 1990 by Mike Cruze with a simple belief: the fireplace is the one feature of a home that people gather around, remember, and pass down. From a showroom on West Main Street in Sevierville, we’ve spent three decades helping families across the Smokies design hearths worthy of that role.
From premium gas and wood-burning fireplaces to stoves, inserts, custom mantels, ProVia stone, and full outdoor kitchens — every project is guided by expert design and installed by our own craftsmen. Not subcontracted. Not rushed. Done right.

Walk our Sevierville showroom, see live burning displays, and talk through your space with people who've done this for decades.
We help you choose the right unit, fuel, venting, stone, and mantel — matched to your home's architecture and how you actually live.
Our own installers — not subcontractors — handle everything to code, from framing and venting to the final stone joint.
Service, parts, and honest advice for the life of your hearth. When you buy from us, you're never on your own.
A fireplace isn’t something we sell. It’s the room everyone remembers.
